Exploring Logseq’s New Database Version: A Hands-On Look

I recently played around with Logseq’s new Database / DB feature and was very impressed with the functionality. While it’s still in pre-alpha testing, I wanted to share my first impressions with you.

From a visual point of view it allows for properties to be associated to tags (a super-tag like feature) which allows for adding, editing and removing properties so much easier and more intuitively.

From a background point of view, the DB feature should allow for so much more, including, bit not limited to:

  • Better reliability
  • Improved speeds
  • Data integrity (especially with Syncing)
  • Different views.

This is a huge improvement to Logseq and I cannot wait for it to be made live.
