Hi Everyone,

LogseqTimes 2023–12–16: Logseq Updates, Working with PDFs, Portable Version, New UI buttons, Free Sync Alternative, Plugins and More

Logseq Release

This week, Logseq celebrated its 4 year anniversary — no idea where the time has gone, but congratulations to the devs and Tienson.

You can download the latest desktop and Android app from here.

How to Sync Logseq for Free Across Devices (All Platforms)

How to sync Logseq across devices for free. Logseq is a wonderful note-taking app. But, it is offline, so syncing is a challenging topic for it.

In this video, we will learn to sync notes between devices. The video covers:
- PC & PC sync
- PC & Android Sync
- PC & iPhone Sync

Using Obsidian plugin to sync across devices

Staying with Sync, you can use Remotely Save or Remotely Sync on an Obsidian vault aiming at your Logseq graph to sync your files between Windows and Android.

Then I’ve configured Bixby routines to open Logseq whenever I open Obsidian on my phone (and triggering the sync at startup). Why am I doing all this? My network at work blocks git, syncthing and (I think) official Sync and there aren’t sync plugins on Logseq (and the mobile app doesn’t have plugins at all). Is there a trial version of the official Sync? Was using Samsung Dex before to run the Logseq app but it didn’t work as smoothly as the PC version (plus plugins).

Thanks for the post OP!
